June 23 – A F-16D used by the Air Force Thunderbirds aerobatic team ran off the runway and overturned, injuring the plane's pilot while preparing for the Vectren Dayton Air Show. Capt. Erik Gonsalves and a passenger, Technical Sgt. Kenneth Cordova, were trapped in the aircraft for over an hour. Cordova was uninjured.
