Chris Lassing was Lilly Rush's partner until the fall of 2003. Nicknamed 'Lass' by Lilly, he was a competent, hard-working detective but never quite shared Lilly's passion for cold cases. A smoker, he was also married and therefore wasn't fond of the long hours Lilly insisted on putting in. He later transferred out due to problems with diabetes.
