The Wexford–Missaukee Intermediate School District is an intermediate school district in Michigan, headquartered in Cadillac. Most of Missaukee and Wexford Counties are served by the Wexford–Missaukee Intermediate School District, which coordinates the efforts of local boards of education, but has no operating authority over schools.

Mesick is a village located almost entirely within Springville Township to the west. The United States Census Bureau lists Mesick as extending into Antioch Township with only 0.01 square miles (0.03 km 2) of the village and no population within the township. [3] Sherman is an unincorporated community on M-37 at the northwest corner of the township.
There is one provider of public education in the State of Hawaii, the Hawaii Department of Education (HIDOE), dependent on the Hawaiian state government. The word "school districts" in Hawaii is instead used to refer to internal divisions within HIDOE, and the U.S. Census Bureau does not count these as local governments.
William Smith Mesick (August 26, 1856 – December 1, 1942) was a politician from the U.S. state of Michigan. Mesick was born in Newark, New York and attended the common schools. He moved to Michigan and attended Kalamazoo Business College and graduated from the law department of the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in 1881.
