This game has nothing to do, at all, with The Godfather Part II. What EA did was take The Godfather: The Game, and expanded its story. You play the same, fictional character in both games. While the first game was a 3rd person perspective of the events of the film, the second fast forwards to 1968 and makes the player a Don right from the start.
