The Demarest–Bloomer–Hart House, also known as the Demarest–Bloomer House, is located at 147 River Edge Avenue in the borough of New Milford in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The historic Greek Revival house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 7, 1985, for its significance in architecture.
Jacobus Demarest House is located in New Milford, Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The house was built in 1765 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 17, 1978.
[1] [3] It was listed as part of the Early Stone Houses of Bergen County Multiple Property Submission (MPS). [4] According to the nomination form, the house was probably built by Samuel R. Demarest (1783–1872). He was a descendant of David des Marest (Demarest), one of the earliest settlers in the county.
