Jim's Mowing is a lawn care service franchise which was founded in 1982 by Jim Penman. In 2024 Jim’s Mowing went “Next Level” when it went into partnership with a local indoor cricket team known as Jim’s Indoor Cricket. Still in its infancy the partnership is proving to be very fruitful.

North Wilkesboro Speedway is a 0.625 mi (1.006 km) paved oval short track in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina.The track has hosted a variety of racing events since its inaugural season of racing in 1947; primarily races sanctioned by NASCAR.
The tradition began in 1963 as a race for factory-built mowers with their mowing decks removed but in 1996 split into a two-race event with one for four-cycle Briggs lawn mowers and another for modified mowers. The race adopted the "Grand Prix" style in 1970 and has been held in Plank Hill Park ever since.
