Aston Manor Academy (formerly Aston Manor School) is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in the Aston area of Birmingham, England.. Due in part to the fact that it is situated in Aston, it has children from a wide variety of ethnic groups.
Aston Manor was a local government district of Warwickshire, England in what is now northern Birmingham, in the West Midlands, from the 19th century to 1911, when it was added to Birmingham. The Aston Manor Local Board of Health was formed in 1869, from part of the ancient parish of Aston.

In 1974 the school was placed within the Rotherham Local Authority and became Aston Comprehensive School. In 2011, the Aston Comprehensive School took advantage of the 2010 Academies Act, [1] which allows a school to apply to the Secretary of State to convert to academy [2] and formed Aston Community Education Trust (company number 07577113)
Aston is a village and civil parish in the East Hertfordshire district of Hertfordshire, England. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 844, increasing to 871 at the 2011 Census. [ 1 ] Located on a ridge between Stevenage and the Beane Valley , Aston is a 10 minutes drive from the A1(M) .
