State Road 37 (SR 37) is a major route in the U.S. state of Indiana, running as a four-lane divided highway for a majority of its course in Southern and Central Indiana. At one time, the route ran from the southwest corner of the state to the northeast corner.
Marion County is a county located in the west central portion of the U.S. state of Georgia. As of the 2020 census, the county had a population of 7,498. [1] The county seat is Buena Vista. [2] The county was created on December 14, 1827. The county was named for General Francis Marion of South Carolina. [3]
State Route 127 (SR 127) is a 65.6-mile-long (105.6 km) state highway that runs west-to-east through portions of Marion, Taylor, Macon, and Houston counties in the west-central and central parts of the U.S. state of Georgia. It connects the north-central part of Marion County with the Perry–Warner Robins area.
The road heads north-northwest, traveling very briefly along the Webster–Marion county line. Then, it curves to the north-northeast and meets the western terminus of SR 30 before it curves back to the north-northwest. Just before entering Buena Vista, it passes by Marion County Airport. In town, the highway intersects SR 26 (6th Avenue).
The highway connects the southern part of Marion County with Port Wentworth, via Americus, Cordele, Abbeville, McRae, Vidalia, Reidsville, Claxton, and Pembroke. The highway is concurrent with U.S. Route 280 (US 280) for about four-fifths of its length, from Americus to Blitchton, which is the easternmost 183.9 miles (296.0 km) of US 280's length.
