The 10 holes from the 22 are smoother/brighter. 2 are at 12:00 middle-high, registration rounds, my first 2 shots from the 10/22, in order to try to gauge the drop. 7 of the other 8 shots settled in on or just off the top of the bull, but I did have one flyer - surely my fault - the lonely hole at 5:00, just off the bull.
The Henry is light and cheap feeling but has a purpose. It breaks down smaller and is light weight for a backpack. The 8 round mags are a downside but for a survival rifle is sufficient. Everything fits in the buttstock including 3 mags. The takedown is a superior unit. Well made and solid.
It also includes two quick detach sling swivels. Unfortunately, the sling swivels that it comes with are 1" sling swivels, but you might need the larger 1 1/4" swivels for many slings. Of course, they can be purchased separately. Here is a video showing an installation of that type on a Ruger 10/22 takedown:

It comes with the original Bag, 1x 10 Round Ruger Magazin , 1x 25 Round Ruger Magazin, 1x25 Round other Brand Magazin and a Red Dot Firefild Impact mini. All for 500 Swiss Franks, around 545 USD.
The takedown is good if you are okay with just using irons. However the 10/22s are really overpriced due to all the hype. They are a great $150 gun but idk if I'd pay $400+ for a 10/22 and that's about what they go for. I bought my 06 Tikka for $757 on sale.
So if everyone who has a scope on their Takedown please report what it is and if it fits in the bag, I will keep the list below updated. Fits in the backpack: Konus 4x32. Leupold VX -1 2-7X28. Nikon African 1-4x20. Nikon P223. Nikon Prostaff 2-7x32. Weaver 2.5-7x28mm. Weaver Nitrex 1.5 X 5.
Ruger 10/22 Takedown barrel adjustment. Hello i noticed my barrel being abit loose and wobbely so i was going to tightend the adjustment screw. I couldent tighten it anymore with the barrel on so i took it off to turn the screw counter clockwise 1 or 2 clicks like the manual says. Then i noticed it doesent click anymore and moves very easilly..
The only advantage is the take down feature, which also makes cleaning the bore a bit easier. All internal receiver parts are compatible with other 10/22s. All other "features" favor a standard carbine model. It's your money but if I were making the decision, I would get a standard 10/22 carbine.

Take off the barrel band and loosen the take down screw, and there you go. Barrel and receiver assembly slides right out.
kf6zpl. If you need to adjust the tensioner every time you shot, one of two things-- 1) either you are not tightening it enough or 2) you have an internal problem with the adjusting components. I took my new 10/22 TD to the range last week and after 100 rounds, it is consistently 1-2 inches high at 50 yards.
