Rotary, BendPak, etc pretty much have their lifts built in China for the market and type of lift that I'm looking for. I won't pay $1000.00 or more for a identical Chinese lift with a different decal on it. If there are appreciable quality and design upgrades then I'm in, but from what I've found most are identical lifts with different labels.
My source for the lift was Garage Equipment Supply (Garage Equipment Supply - The Automotive Tool and Equipment Superstore is a supplier of automotive lifts, auto lifts, car lifts, car hoists, two post lifts, four post lifts, alignment lifts, along with automotive tools and equipment of all kinds.). I had purchased a BendPax from them also.
Nov 4, 2007. Posts. 2,982. Reaction score. 6. Location. Near Peoria, IL. My garage ceiling is exactly 10 feet and I was thinking of a 4 post lift as my wife is thinking of getting her own toy (probably C6 convertible 6 speed). She really likes the Dodge Challenger, but I do not think it would fit.
Many mechanics have dropped cars on a two post lift because of weight shift, i.e. removing or installing a major component. Concrete requirements for a 7,000 pound Rotary brand two post lift is 3,000 PSI at 4.25” thickness, basically a residential garage floor.

Rotary Revolution lifts are also owned by Dover. The Rotary Revolution RFP9 and the Direct Lift Pro Park 9 Plus look very similar which makes me wonder ...

I've not read one post where a particular lift was bashed. I personally like the Revolution RFP9 4-post lift. It has ANSI/ALI/ETL ...
Enthusiast. I know that some of you expressed interest in the Dannmar 4 Post lifts in other threads. I ordered my Dannmar D7-X a couple of weeks ago and it showed up at the freight dock yesterday 3 weeks ahead of schedule. I figured that I would document my experience with this lift as a point of reference for everyone.
I recently had a new Bend Pak lift installed. I did quite a bit of research and found the Bend Pak to be a good combination of quality and price. I bought the HD-9 model if you look on their website. I bought it through Workshop Depot (check their website) and dealed directly with the owner...
Trying to create room for more vehicles in the garage. Anyone have recommendation on brand or area seller and installer of 4 Post Car Lifts in the Eastern Nebraska/Western Iowa area?
Saratoga,CA. The height will limit the clearance under the lift. Viper height is 4" typical ramp thickness is 4" so two Vipers will take up 8'4' leaving 3' 8. That great for working under the car without having to bend down under the lift. Nov 30, 2006.
