Weber Township is one of the five townships of McPherson County, South Dakota, United States. It lies in the northeastern part of the county and borders the following other townships within McPherson County: Wachter Township — east; Carl Township — southeast corner; Hoffman Township — southwest corner; Wacker Township — west
South Dakota imposed a centrally-assessed tax on airline property. In 1978, the state abolished the personal property tax for most property, but left it in place for airlines. Western Air Lines argued that, because the underlying personal property tax had been abolished, the tax was no longer “in lieu of” another tax.
Leola is a small city in and the county seat of McPherson County, South Dakota, United States. It was founded on May 1, 1884, and named for Leola Haynes, [ 5 ] daughter of one of the town's founders. The population was 434 as of the 2020 census .
