B-HNL is a Boeing 777-200 aircraft that was built by Boeing Commercial Airplanes as the prototype of the 777. It rolled off the assembly line, originally registered as N7771, on 9 April 1994 and first flew on 12 June.
The 777-8 provides seating for 395 passengers and has a range of 8,745 nmi (16,196 km; 10,064 mi) while the 777-9 has seating for 426 passengers and a range of over 7,285 nmi (13,492 km; 8,383 mi). The 777X program was proposed in the early 2010s with assembly at the Boeing Everett Factory and the wings built at a new adjacent building.
As of December 2024, the airline operates a fleet of narrow-body and wide-body aircraft with a fleet consisting of Airbus A320-200, A320neo, A321neo, ATR 72-600 as well as the Boeing 777 (wet-leased from Turkish Airlines) for passenger operations, and Airbus A321-200/P2F for cargo operations, making for a total of 395 aircraft.

The Boeing 777X is the world's largest twinjet, and the 777-200LR variant has the world's second longest aircraft range (behind Airbus A350-900 ULR). Other Boeing twinjets include the 767, 757 (With the latter having stopped production, but still in commercial service) and 787. Competitor Airbus produces the A320 family, the A330, and the A350.
