Attock District ( Punjabi/Urdu ضلع اٹک:), known as Campbellpur District during British Raj, is a district, located on the Pothohar Plateau, in Punjab, Pakistan; created in April 1904. According to 2023 Pakistani census population of Attock District is 2,133,005 (2.1 million).

Attock Tehsil (in Punjabi and Urdu: تحصیل اٹک) is one of the six tehsils of Attock District in the Punjab Province of Pakistan. [1] The Indus River bounds it on the north-west, dividing it from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while the Haro River flows through from east to west. [2] The north-west corner is occupied by the fertile Chach Valley.
Kamra (Urdu: کامرہ) is a town located in Attock District in the mountainous north of Punjab, Pakistan. [1] The area is host to defence institutions such as the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex and PAF Base Minhas .
The town is the first site of an oilfield in Punjab which operated from 1911 to the 1950s. The first commercial success came with the drilling of Khaur-1 by Pakistan Oilfields Limited in 1915, on a surface anticline in the Potwar Basin.
Jand is located in the south-western part of Attock District in the Punjab province of Pakistan, 100 km from Islamabad. It lies on border of Punjab with KPK. The Indus river is about 5 km from Jand City. It is surrounded by Pari, Dundi Jiswaal, Marri, Jalwaal Saghri and Kundrala.
