Secondary School Certificate is a public exam for classes 9 and 10 separately. Class 9 exam is called SSC part-1 and class 10 exam is called SSC part-2. This exam is conducted by government boards, officially known as Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education, or simply BISE.
Jessore City College was established on 17 July 1966 under the leadership of Sardar Ahmed Ali. During the establishment of the college, Prof. AFM Salimullah assumed the responsibility of the principal and carried out all the functions including the appointment of teachers of various subjects and the approval of the board and the university for the continuation of the academic activities.
