Thompson (born 1955) is an American politician, harvest worker, former Marine and former counterterrorism coordinator who has represented the 56th district of the Iowa House of Representatives since January 2023, which consists of Humboldt County, Hancock County and most of Wright County, with the exception of parts of its southeast.
