5-25-77, released as 25-5-77 in the United Kingdom, is a 2022 coming-of-age film written and directed by Patrick Read Johnson and produced by Fred Roos and Gary Kurtz. It stars John Francis Daley as a teenage director living in Wadsworth , Illinois , and his excitement for the premiere of Star Wars on May 25, 1977.
He was introduced in the prequel trilogy as a Jedi Master who sits on the Jedi High Council during the final years of the Galactic Republic. He is portrayed by Samuel L. Jackson in all three prequel films. Windu also appears in the 2008 animated film The Clone Wars, the television series of the same name, and in novels, comics, and video games.
The character of Quinlan Vos made his first public appearance in the 1999 film Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. This is a retcon, as originally the character was a random extra. Star Wars creator George Lucas liked the character enough to retcon him into the film. His first true appearance is Star Wars #17, (1998) [2] [3]
