After her recording career, Maessen turned to cabaret and club work by the mid-1970s.

Peaches were an Australian pop music girl group who were active in the late 1970s with Margaret Kirk on lead vocals and guitar (a.k.a. Colleen Hewett was born on 16 April 1950 in Bendigo. [1] [2] [3] She has a sister, Glenys Hewett, who was a pop vocalist from the early sixties to mid-seventies.[4] [5] Glenys did release one single in 1973 on the RCA label, "C’est La Vie", with B-side "Captain Como".
