The Chelsea Sessions 1967 is a compilation album by the Scottish psychedelic folk group the Incredible String Band, which compiles their demo recordings prior to their second studio album, The 5000 Spirits or the Layers of the Onion. The Incredible String Band is the debut album by The Incredible String Band, released in the United Kingdom in October 1966 by record label Elektra. It is the only one of the band's albums to feature the original trio line-up with Clive Palmer , Robin Williamson and Mike Heron .
The 5000 Spirits or the Layers of the Onion was released in July 1967 on the Elektra label to the UK (catalogue item EUK 257), and the US (catalogue item EUK 4010). [10] The album, more successful than the ISB's debut, peaked at number 25 on the UK Albums Chart and number one on the UK Folk Chart, in part due to its promotion by DJ John Peel.
Radio Radio composed a song and produced a video for the special end-of-year presentation of Infoman, a television program hosted by Jean-René Dufort, which was broadcast on Radio-Canada.
