After renovation works, Flint House was opened as a Police Rehabilitation Centre by Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother on 2 June 1988. Helen & Douglas House is a registered hospice charity (no. 1085951) [1] based in Oxford, England, providing palliative, respite, end-of-life and bereavement care to life-limited children and their families.
The house was acquired by Quintain property developers in 2006 and demolished in 2009. [1] Quintain sold the site to Berkeley Homes in September 2010 for £5m. The site was developed as student housing for Oxford Brookes University students during 2011–12. [5] and is managed by Unite, still under the name of Dorset House. [6]
