Sandy River Plantation is a plantation in Franklin County, Maine, United States. The population was 128 at the 2020 census . It borders the towns of Industry and New Sharon to the east, Chesterville to the south, Wilton to the southwest, Temple to the west, and Strong and New Vineyard to the north.

By 1886, town industries included a boot and shoe factory, machine shops, Maine's first cheese factory, [6] a clothespin manufacturer, a maker of cane seat chair bottoms, and an excelsior factory.
