Rick Welts (born January 21, 1953) [1] is an American sports executive who is the chief executive officer for the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Welts had also served as the president and chief executive officer of the Phoenix Suns from July 2002 until September 9, 2011.
