Tab-separated values (TSV) is a simple, text-based file format for storing tabular data. [3] Records are separated by newlines, and values within a record are separated by tab characters. The TSV format is thus a delimiter-separated values format, similar to comma-separated values.
Possible workarounds include abbreviating phrases, replacing values with links (e.g. a URI pointing to the value), and splitting a file into multiple files. Edit-tricks are most useful when multiple tables must be changed, then the time needed to develop complex edit-patterns can be applied to each table. For each table, insert an alpha-prefix on each column (making each row-token "|-" to sort as column zero, like prefix "Row124col00"), then sort into a new file, and then de-prefix the column entries.

The most important feature from the point of view of Wiki charts, is that Gnumeric charts can be exported as graphics simply by right clicking anywhere on the finished chart and selecting Save as Image.
