The Walmart Arkansas Music Pavilion (originally known as the Arkansas Music Pavilion and commonly known as the Walmart AMP) is an outdoor amphitheater located in Rogers, Arkansas. The venue opened in June 2005 as a semi-permanent venue, becoming a permanent venue in 2014.
The amphitheater opened in 1996, with 7,500 seats, under a pavilion and 12,500 general admission lawn seats, [2] and since then, due to its size and target audience, has hosted concerts by large names in the music industry.
There were 6,700 seats in an open-air pavilion—much of it under cover—and room for another 13,300 people on general admission lawn seating. The concert season began mid-May, continuing through early October and featured 20-30 concerts per year. At the time it opened, it was the largest and most suitable venue for concerts in central Ohio.
Tickets for the newly announced August and September shows at Zoo Amp go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, April 12. A venue presale will launch at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 11.
