Gideon struggles with making decisions and collapses. Astra and Spooner enter her mind and meet a memory of Jefferson "Jax" Jackson defending her subconsciousness. The Legends learn that Gwyn Davies died at the fixed point in 1916 Mametz Wood, France. Gary deduces that Sara Lance is pregnant (due to her alien biology) and her regenerative abilities transfer to the baby. The Legends travel to before Gwyn's death, but are intercepted by Gideon who tells them to leave.
The Legends fail to convince Rasputin to kill his killer, so they return to the Waverider, but leave a film crew member behind. As a result, the Legends form a plan to stop Rasputin and rescue the crew member before returning to 2020. They then release the documentary to the world, before claiming the film was faked.
