Jujutsu Kaisen (呪術廻戦, rgh. "Sorcery Battle") [b] is a Japanese anime television series produced by MAPPA, based on the manga series of the same name by Gege Akutami.The story follows high school student Yuji Itadori as he joins a secret organization of Jujutsu Sorcerers to eliminate a powerful Curse named Ryomen Sukuna, of whom Yuji becomes the host.
Essentially, Tenjin Shin'yō-ryū is the amalgamation of two separate systems of jūjutsu: the Yōshin-ryū and Shin no Shintō-ryū. The distinctive feature of this particular school is the use of atemi or strikes to disrupt the balance of the opponent as well as a more flexible and flowing movement of the body than seen in some older schools of jūjutsu.
Gege Akutami was born in Iwate Prefecture on February 26, 1992. [1] Akutami moved to Sendai in Miyagi Prefecture in fifth grade. Akutami began drawing manga by mimicking a friend, which inspired them to become a professional manga artist.
