The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is an agency within the Texas Health and Human Services System. It was established by House Bill 2292 in 2003 during the 78th Legislature, [ 1 ] which consolidated twelve different healthcare agencies into five entities under the oversight of HHSC.
Campus expansions included an allied health studies building in 1973 and an expansion to the Vocational Center in 1980, focusing on special services. [2] After a merger with Union County College in 1982, the focus on adult classes was moved to other UCC locations in the county, leading the technical institute building to be abandoned. [3]

The Union County Vocational-Technical Schools (UCVTS) are a grouping of schools on the Union County Vocational Technical Schools Campus in Scotch Plains, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, which offers educational programs for students across Union County, eight at the high school level for students in ninth through twelfth grades and one at the adult education level.
