"Burning House" is a song recorded by American country music singer Cam. It was released on June 16, 2015, as the second single from her second album Untamed.Co-written by Cam along with Tyler Johnson and Jeff Bhasker, the song was inspired by a dream that she had about attempting to rescue her boyfriend from a house that was on fire.
It was her next single, "Burning House", that became Cam's first major hit. The single peaked in the top five of the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and Country Airplay chart. [5] In December 2015, Cam's second studio album was released.
Cam was born on November 19, 1984, in Huntington Beach, California, [3] and was raised in Lafayette, California, a suburb in the San Francisco Bay Area. [4] She also spent time in Oceanside, California, where her grandparents operated a ranch. They helped develop Cam's appreciation for country music, listening to and performing it regularly. [5]
