The group was founded by Andy Noble[6], the founder of the now defunct Milwaukee record store Lotus Land Records, in 2007. He then opened vinyl specialty shop We Buy Records in Milwaukee, WI (2018)[7] and We Buy Records Chicago in Westchester, IL (2020)[8]. The Duluth-bound Benjamin Noble entered Lake Superior on 25 April 1914 under command of Captain John Eisenhardt from Milwaukee, WI; the Noble was his first command.
