Tioga County / t aɪ ˈ oʊ ɡ ə / is a county in the U.S. state of New York. As of the 2020 census, the population was 48,455. [2] Its county seat is Owego. [3] Tioga County is part of the Binghamton metropolitan area. The county is part of the Southern Tier region of the state.
