Kōtarō Bokuto (木兎 光太郎, Bokuto Kōtarō) is a third-year student at Fukurodani Academy and captain and ace of the volleyball team. He is one of Japan's top 5 aces, only barely missing being in the top 3. Bokuto is an enthusiastic and cheerful person who is very passionate about volleyball.
