    I was at -10db on the Pioneer, and had to crank the S770 to a +2 or +4 for comparable volume. I found the low-end bass a little less pronounced with the S770. I figured this might be due to a beefier build quality on the Pioneer. With the S770, I found the instruments to be a little less forward-sounding.
