Basic information. The school is named after Navy Admiral Arthur William Radford who served as Commander-in-Chief of the United States Pacific Command after WWII. Radford High School was established in 1957 and graduated its first senior class in June 1960. It is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. [2]
