Congratulations on choosing the Cambridge! My mom has two of them in her dollhouse collection and they are her favorites. I myself love all the Dura-Craft kits and really wish they were still in business and production! They are definitely not junk and are quite sturdy when assembled. Have fun and enjoy yours! :yay:
I'm new to miniatures and I recently bought a small dresser from Hobby Lobby. It's unfinished wood and I've already sanded it so it's smooth, but I'm not sure how I should go about painting it. I have a design in mind, but I haven't seen any tutorials with step-by-step instructions. Should I use ...
I recently finished The Arthur that has been sitting around since the 1980s. When I first got it, I was a new mom with little time. Now, I'm retired and having so much fun with dollhouse making. Hello, I've decided to build a Beacon Hill for my first dollhouse. I know this will have a steep learning curve, but the Beacon Hill is the one that speaks to me the most. The doll family I've imagined consists of a mother, father and four children (with one set of twins who would share a room, meaning four bedrooms total for all the family ...
Thanks to all of you, Terry and I made the decision to go forward with the GL Laser Cut Beaumont (our first dollhouse project). I've learned much from all the forum comments and suggestions, but wondered if there's a step-by-step guide, Youtube video or reference, that explains each sequential step for building a dollhouse (based on all your ...
The price depends on the type of kit. A tab and slot dollhouse can sell, finished and assembled, for up to 300% - 500% the retail price of the kit because of the time consuming and labor intensive process of the assembly. Your best bet though is to charge 200% of the kits retail price.
