On my 17 I bought an aftermarket slide. The 43x is slightly less concealable with the red dot. Be sure to try both red and green in dim and bright light. I am still learning the red dot. Right now I am more accurate at every distance with the red dot. I am faster 0-10 with my XS big dots. Past 10 I am both more accurate and faster with the red ...

The auto sensor sometimes dims the dot too much when in low light conditions. Example - was in my basement last week and doing low light dry fire and the dot was dim but perfect for that light environment. I swung the gun to a new target point passing one of the larger windows and the dot disappeared with the brighter background.

  4. What are my options for RDS on my 43X MOS? | Glock Talk

Okay, thanks for all the input. I returned the Lasermax guide rod and mounted the Sentinel with no issues.....will work on getting the red dot to line up with the factory sights. Right now it isn't close. Another disappointment.....the 43X MOS doesn't seem to lock into the trigger guard or even git properly unto the Aliengear holster!

  5. 43X MOS with RMSc factory optic questions - Glock Talk

I have my mind made up about the 43X MOS and am just trying to decide on optic. Glock offers this model with a Shield RMSc optic pre-installed for just about $200 more than the base MOS. That's pretty tempting compared to the base MOS plus the price of a Holosun and adapter plate.

None. The slide cut on a Glock MOS is intended to mount a plate, there are only 2 screw points. The plates add locating posts and sight specific mounting points. Have your slide cut for the sight you want if you don’t want a plate.
