Macomb Township is a civil township of Macomb County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 91,663 at the 2020 census , [ 2 ] up from 79,580 in 2010 . As of 2020 it was the most-populous civil township in the state and the third most-populous township overall after the charter townships of Clinton and Canton .
At the beginning of 2010, there were 12 Boy Scout Councils and 14 Girl Scout Councils in Michigan. In 2008, many Girl Scout Councils were merged in the state, resulting in the 5 present day Girl Scouts councils. In 2012, the Boy Scouts of America consolidated nine of its councils across the state into the Michigan Crossroads Council.

The township occupies the northwest corner of Macomb County, with Oakland County on its western border and Lapeer County on its northern border.
