Inverness Caledonian Thistle are a Scottish professional association football club based in Inverness. They have played at their home ground, the Caledonian Stadium, since 1996, prior to that they played at Telford Street Park, as well as a brief spell at Pittodrie in Aberdeen whilst the Caledonian Stadium was being refurbished following their promotion to the Scottish Premier League in 2004.
The 2022–23 Inverness Caledonian Thistle season is the club's 29th campaign in the SPFL, and the club's sixth consecutive season in the Scottish Championship after narrowly missing out on promotion, being defeated 6–2 on aggregate in the Premiership Play-Off Finals by St Johnstone.

On 1 July 2023, Gilmour joined Scottish Championship side, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, making his debut on 15 July in a 2–1 home win over Bonnyrigg Rose in the League Cup, before scoring his first goal for the club 10 days later in a 3–2 loss to Airdrieonians, also in the League Cup.
