Dr. Orloff's Monster (Spanish: El secreto del doctor Orloff) is a 1965 directed by Jesús Franco. It was made as a follow-up to the box office success of The Awful Dr. Orloff (1962). It was first announced in 1962, and shot between January 26, 1964, and lasted until March 28 in Spain.
Horror film fans consider his three greatest horror roles to be The Awful Dr. Orloff (1962) which introduced Franco's famed mad doctor character, Dracula vs. Frankenstein (1971) in which he actually played Count Dracula, and The Erotic Rites of Frankenstein (1972) in which he played Count Cagliostro.
It was released in October 1964 in the United States as The Horrible Dr. Hitchcock, where it was distributed by Sigma III Corporation [10] as a double feature with The Awful Dr. Orloff.
