Mill Creek High School is a high school in Hoschton, Georgia, United States. It serves the unincorporated area (not in any city limits) of Hamilton Mill, Gwinnett County, a suburb of Atlanta, as well as the Gwinnett County portion of Braselton. The school was established in 1991 and combined the student bodies of Westmoreland High School and Saint George High School. It originally enrolled grades 7–12. In 2020, an addition to the school was completed, increasing the grades enrolled to 5-12.
Wheeler was born to a baseball-playing family in Smyrna, Georgia, but moved to Dallas, Georgia, shortly before the start of high school. There, he pitched for East Paulding High School, leading the team to a state playoff appearance in 2009 and pitching a no-hitter against Mill Creek High School.
