Dear FreeCAD Windows users, after some hard work in testing FreeCAD 0.19 under various Windows versions (Win 7 and Win 10), on PCs with different CPU, with different screen resolutions, graphic cards etc., all known Windows-specific issues are now fixed.

The 0.22 version is not installed with icons on the desktop and such. It is an archive which you simply have to unpack with a recent 7unzip and run the FreeCAD binary in the bin directory (may depend on the OS you use). Also what is the exact build version of Windows 10, it should be something like 10.0.19041.928, we have been getting reports that old Windows 10 builds can cause crashes and have been fixed by bring them up to at least 2020 H1 level.

To uninstall a program use the Windows# system settings. here it is how it looks on my old Win 7 PC: Just right-click on the Entry for FreeCAD and then select "uninstall". That works here correctly. fter the uninstallation the Windows' list of installed programs has no longer an entry fro FreeCAD.
So to install. install chocolatey. create the following directory - C:\Program Files\FreeCAD 0.19. open the command prompt via right click run as administrator in the start menu. run the following. Code: Select all. choco install freecad --pre --params "/InstallDir:'C:\Program Files\FreeCAD 0.19' /NoShortcut".

You can access it by entering c:\windows\fonts directly in the top adressline of your file explorer. It doesn't matter here, but for future questions it is best to give a link to the video, even better with the position where you talk about.
