The divisions of Punjab (Urdu: پنجاب کےڈویژن), are the first-order administrative bodies of the Punjab Province of Pakistan. In total, there are 10 divisions, which are further divided into districts ranging from three to six per division, depending upon area.
East Punjab was a state of Dominion of India and later Republic of India from 1947 until 1950. It consisted parts of the Punjab State of British India that remained in India following the partition of the state between the new dominions of Pakistan and India by the Radcliffe Commission in 1947.

Gujranwala (Punjabi / Urdu: گوجرانوالہ, pronounced [gʊˈd͡ʒɾãːʋaːɭaː]) is the fourth most-populous city in the Pakistani province of Punjab. Located in northern Punjab's Rachna Doab, it serves as the headquarters of the eponymous district and division. It is also known as "City of Wrestlers" and is quite famous for its food. [6]
