Glenys Margaret Elaine Hanna-Martin (née Hanna; born 27 October 1958) is a Bahamian Progressive Liberal Party politician and lawyer serving as Minister of Education since 2021. She has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Englerston since 2002, making her the country's longest serving female parliamentarian.

In his youth, Saunders attended Government High School in Nassau, Bahamas, later becoming head boy there. Having attended the Bahamas Teachers' College, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree (BA) in Classics from the University of London in 1964. He taught English at St Anne's High School in Nassau from 1964 until 1968. [1]
In 1975, the school was taken over by the Anglican Central Education Authority based in Nassau, and Father Bishop who had been Headmaster at St. John's College, Nassau, for many years, was appointed Principal. He held the post for three years, retiring in 1978 when Mrs. Anita Osman was appointed and held the post until 1986.
