Grant Garland Teaff (/ ˈ t æ f /; born November 12, 1933) is a former American football player and coach. He served as the head coach at McMurry University (1960–1965), Angelo State University (1969–1971), and Baylor University (1972–1992), compiling a career college football record of 170–151–8.
1976 – The Texas Intercollegiate Athletic Association (TIAA) was founded. Charter members included Austin College, McMurry University, Sul Ross State University, Tarleton State University and Trinity University, beginning the 1976–77 academic year.
At McMurry he coached players like Les Cowan, Brad Rowland and Grant Teaff.
