Dhoom is the soundtrack album to the 2004 film Dhoom directed by Sanjay Gadhvi and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films.The soundtrack featured seven songs composed by Pritam with lyrics written by Sameer and released on 16 July 2004 under the Saregama label.
"Dhoom Dhoom" (also "Dhoom Machao Dhoom") is the title track and single composed by Pritam and sung by the pop singer, Tata Young for the 2004 film and album, Dhoom. Dhoom was released in August 2004, going on to win several awards and took on international fame. It quickly soared high on the billboards top in 2004 to 2005.
