The governor-general of the West Indies Federation was a post in the government of the West Indies. The federation, also known as the British Caribbean Federation, consisted of Antigua (with Barbuda), Barbados, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Jamaica, Montserrat, St. Christopher-Nevis-Anguilla, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Trinidad and Tobago, and Turks & Caicos Islands.
The West Indies cricket team is one of the full members of the International Cricket Council (ICC). They are the joint most successful team along with England and India, having won two titles in 2012 and 2016. [1] [2] The team has appeared in every edition of the tournament, and also have been hosts of the 2010 and 2024 editions. [3]
