Croydon is a census-designated place located in Bristol Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, United States. As of the 2010 census, the CDP had a total population of 9,950. [3] Croydon is located 68.9 miles (110.9 km) southeast of Allentown and 18.5 miles (29.8 km) northeast of Philadelphia.
Corydon was settled in 1810 and incorporated in 1829. On March 26, 1846, a small sliver of the westernmost portion of Corydon bordering the Allegheny River was transferred to Warren County; the new township also retained the name Corydon, resulting in there being two adjacent but separate townships with the same name.
The U.S. National tennis championship, precursor to today's US Open, was played on Germantown Cricket's lawn tennis courts from 1921 to 1923. [ 3 ] The Germantown Cricket Club was located in Nicetown from 1877 until 1890 when it moved to its present Manheim Street location after merging with the Young America Cricket Club in 1890.

The Pennsylvania State Clay Court Open Championships [1] was a men's and women's grass court tennis tournament founded in 1932 as the Pennsylvania Clay Court Championships. [2] It was staged annually Allentown then Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, United States. In 1972 it ceased to part of the official worldwide ILTF Circuit.
