Unexpected Productions (UP) is an improvisational comedy company in Seattle, Washington, USA. As a group, the troupe is best known for creating and starring in the 1993-1995 MTV sketch comedy series The State. Group member Bill Saluga (1937-2023) became known for the rest of his life for his comedy routine as character Raymond J. Johnson Jr., which started as an Ace Trucking Company skit.
