The Palm Springs Unified School District, or PSUSD, is one of three public education governing bodies in the Coachella Valley desert region of Southern California.PSUSD governs the western half of the valley; the Coachella Valley Unified School District and Desert Sands Unified School District oversee communities in the eastern half.
Lorenzo Corsini was born in Florence in 1652 as the son of Bartolomeo Corsini, Marquis of Casigliano, and Elisabetta Strozzi, the sister of the Duke of Bagnuolo. Both of his parents belonged to the old Florentine nobility. He was a nephew of Cardinal Neri Corsini and was a distant relative of Saint Andrew Corsini. [3]

Corsini played for 15 seasons (327 games, three goals) in the Serie A for Atalanta, Roma and Mantova. After finishing his career as a player, he led Atalanta to the promotion to Serie A in his first season as head coach. After they were relegated, he was fired before he could bring them back.

He was the uncle of pope Clement XII and great uncle of cardinal Andrea Corsini. A cleric of the Camera Apostolica under pope Innocent X , he became Tesoriere in 1660. He was made a cardinal presbyter in the 14 January 1664 consistory and two months later given the titulus of Santi Nereo e Achilleo .
