In her other two individual starts and all three women's relays, she was unable to place among the top eight.
In 2009, Huang won the third place in the synchronized swimming double free-routine at the 11th National Games in Shandong. [ 3 ] Huang competed in the women's team event at the 2008 Summer Olympics where she won a bronze medal.
