Following Journal's acquisition of KNIN-TV, the station began airing a half-hour local newscast at 9 p.m. from the KIVI-TV newsroom. [32] The newscast was extended to a full hour and to seven nights a week when KNIN-TV became the Fox affiliate in September 2011; Journal expanded the KIVI-TV news operation with 10 new staffers. St. Mary's Catholic Church is a red brick, Italianate Romanesque Revival building designed by Tourtellotte and Hummel and constructed by H.J. McNeel in 1925 in Caldwell, Idaho. The church features an 80-ft tower, and the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. [2]
