Established on May 8, 1823, it is the oldest township in Wood County. [4]It is the only Perrysburg Township statewide. [5] Perrysburg Township was named after the City of Perrysburg (created in 1816), which in turn was named for Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry, who fought in the War of 1812 and won a decisive victory at the Battle of Lake Erie.

Perrysburg is a city located in Wood County, Ohio, United States, along the south side of the Maumee River. The population was 25,041 at the 2020 census. Part of the Toledo metropolitan area, the city is 12 miles (19 km) southwest of Toledo. Perrysburg served as the county seat from 1822 to 1868.
Stella is an unincorporated community in Jackson Township, Vinton County, Ohio, in the United States. [ 1 ] The old store building at the junctions of Siverly Creek and Locust Grove roads in Vinton County
State Route 795 (SR 795) is an east–west state highway in northwestern Ohio, a U.S. state. The western terminus of SR 795 is at US 20 in Perrysburg, at the signalized intersection that doubles as the northern terminus of SR 199. Its eastern terminus is at a signalized intersection with SR 51 about 0.5 miles (0.80 km) southeast of Millbury.
La Stella was opened by Joe and Jack Taliercio in 1960. [2] It closed in 1992. [3] Tony Talierico later opened a location in Sunrise, Florida.
